Who we are
Ward & Way, an independent information site about hospitals in China. Questions about your data, including to our Data Protection Officer: hello@wardandway.com. Updated 29 Oct 2026.
What we collect
What you type in the form: your email, and if you give them your name, nationality, WhatsApp number, treatment area, timing, how you'll pay and your question. We also record the page you sent it from, any campaign tags in the link, the country your connection comes from, and the time.
Why
To reply to you, and to ask hospitals or providers general questions about your case without giving your name or contact details. We share your details with a named provider only after you say yes to that provider by email.
Health information
Your treatment area and question may say something about your health. By ticking the box on the form you agree to us using it for these purposes only. Please don't send medical records, ID numbers or details about other people.
Where it is kept
On Vercel (our website host), Cloudflare (which stores the form) and in our email inbox. All three may store data outside the country you live in, under their own data protection terms. If you agree to an introduction, what you approve is sent to that provider, usually in China, under Chinese law.
How long
We delete inquiries 12 months after our last email with you, or sooner if you ask.
Your choices
Email hello@wardandway.com to see, correct or delete your data, or to withdraw your consent. We answer within 30 days.
What we never do
Sell your data, use it for ads, or add you to a newsletter. This site sets no cookies. We count page visits with Vercel Web Analytics, which records the page, the referring site, the country and the device type, never who you are.
