Your own doctor will pick up where the hospital in China stops. Make that easy for them before you leave.
Before you leave the hospital, ask for
- A discharge summary or report in English
- Copies of scans and images you can download or take with you, not only the written report
- Your medicines written with their generic names and doses
- A contact at the hospital for questions after you are home
At home
Book a visit with your own doctor before you travel, for soon after you return, and bring everything above. If something needs checking after you are home, your own doctor is the first stop.
